I learned woodworking while working my way through college, and have been making sawdust ever since.

Life changed in 2013, when my wife Velda and our daughter-in-law Alley created Mrs M's Handmade to sell the soaps & lotions they were making at local craft fairs. I was drafted to carry everything, so I started making cutting boards & such for our booth.  Our first event was March 22, 2014, and on that day I sold my first handcrafted cheese board.

I've since discovered that most of the cutting boards sold at retail these days are made to fail. I've used my knowledge of woodcraft to create pieces that are both unique and functional. As long as people keep liking what I do, I'm going to keep building things!
